Section 1: General Rules

1.1 Tournament Format

• The tournament will follow a round-robin and playoff format.

• Teams will be divided into groups for the round-robin stage to be played on August 5th and August 6th.

• The top teams from each group will advance to the playoffs on the afternoon of August 6th.

1.2 Team Composition

• Each team consists of three players plus a goalie on the rink, with optional substitutes.

• A minimum of two players is needed to start a game.

• All players must be registered and named prior to the tournament.

• All players must sign a waiver prior to the tournament.

1.3 Equipment

• Players must wear appropriate sports attire, including jerseys or team uniforms. Bibs will be provided in case of colour conflict of jerseys.

• Goalies must wear proper goalie equipment, including a helmet, mask, chest protector, leg pads, and blocker.

1.4 Game Setup

• Outdoor rink dimensions and boundaries will be clearly marked.

• The two outdoor rinks will be split in half to allow four 3 on 3 games to be played at once.

• Goals will be placed at opposite ends of the rink.

• The size and material of the ball will be determined by the tournament organizers.
